Welcome to the Tom O'Connor Golf Academy
For more than 35 years, Tom O'Connor has been teaching golf. He started his career as Assistant Professional at Statesville, N.C. In 1987 he decided to focus his career on teaching. He became Director of Instruction for the Joliet Park District in Illinois. In 1990 he joined the teaching staff at Cog Hill Golf Club in Lemont, Illinois (home of the Western Open). In 1997 he opened the Tom O'Connor Golf Academy at the Broken Arrow Golf Club in Lockport, Illinois. In 2003 he became the University of St. Francis Womens Golf Coach.
Tom O'Connor is proud of this students including a State High School Champion, Five Nationally Ranked Junior Players in 2002, Division I, II & NAIA Boys & Girls College Players, and many PGA Apprentices.
